In keeping with our committment to provide the highest quality and most efficient emergency response to our community, the Shepherdstown Fire Department offers a Live-In Program that provides Live-In Participants with free and reasonable living accommodations, with the comforts of home, in return for responding on emergency fire and EMS calls.
The Live-In Quarters offers furnished semi-private rooms, a common kitchen, lounge, baths, and laundry facility in a restricted access area of the Shepherdstown Fire Department. Cable TV, local telephone service, and high speed internet are also provided.
